The Kaycee K-12 School was the first of three projects completed for Johnson County School District No. 1. Once built, the existing school needed to be crushed and removed. Completing the school in a rural location presented many challenges for Groathouse and our Subcontractors. Despite these challenges, the school was completed on time and well below the Owner's budget by over $300,000. Johnson County was able to revert some funds back and complete additional work for the new school.
