The Snow Lodge is a 100-room resort facility located directly South of the Old Faithful Geyser. Behind the spectacular design and high level of finish detail, this project was a complex management challange due to the remote siteand the need to work on the project year-round in order to meet the schedule. Over 40% of the project cost was completed by Groathouse Construction's work force. Extended work weeks were the norm, and in winter, crews worked in two 60-hour week periods, using snowmobiles to transport people, material, and supplies in to the park.
