Meeteetse Community Center

The Meeteetse Recreation Center was conceived as a budget-conscious, community-driven facility,
developed for the Meeteetse Recreation District and funded entirely through generous donations and grant
support. Designed to promote promotes health, wellness, and community connection, the 5,900 sf pre-engineered
metal building includes all associated sitework and a thoughtfully planned interior layout.

The facility includes a welcoming reception area with an administrative office, a dedicated classroom for
educational and group activities, a basketball court with polished concrete flooring adaptable to multiple uses, and
a fully equipped fitness room. Each space was carefully planned to maximize functionality within a modest footprint
while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. The construction also involved the installation of (2) new air
handling units with HVAC system, and underground and above ground electrical/plumbing systems for building
utilities and amenities.

More than simply a building, the Meeteetse Recreation Center represents a significant investment in the well-being
of the community, offering a place where residents of all ages can gather, learn, and thrive together. It serves as
both a health-focused amenity and a social hub, underscoring the importance of shared spaces in strengthening
the fabric of the Meeteetse community, with a design that accommodates future expansion of the exercise room.
