Hot Springs Hospital District Isolation Room

Hot Springs Hospital District Isolation Room

The Hot Springs County Hospital Isolation Room Exhaust Upgrade was completed within an active hospital environment, requiring careful coordination to maintain ongoing operations. Groathouse was responsible for implementing and maintaining ICRA containment measures throughout construction.

The project included the installation of two new exhaust fans and the conversion of existing patient rooms into negative pressure isolation rooms. Work involved mechanical, electrical, and interior upgrades to support the new negative pressure systems, including routing new exhaust ductwork to the roof and performing membrane roof patching as required. Architectural finishes were also upgraded in affected areas.
