Cheyenne Business Center – Liquor Store
Our firm was hired for a multi-phased renovation of the Cheyenne Business Center. This liquor store was the second phase and involved complete interior demolition of an existing 9,500 sf office space to prepare for the new building use.
The new space includes a sales floor for liquor and malt beverages, a full-scale bar with drive-through window, and storage. It also features a 950 sf walk-in cooler, which was the largest in Wyoming at the time. This cooler posed challenges in procurement and added complexity to the mechanical and electrical systems.
The site was upgraded with new parking lot islands to comply with updated city landscaping regulations, and vinyl fencing was installed to enhance privacy for neighboring properties. This project highlights Groathouse Construction as a trusted retail renovation contractor in Cheyenne.
